I have following error:

AJAX Loading Error
HTTP Status: 500 (Internal Server Error)
Internal status: error
XHR ReadyState: 4
Raw server response:

I read forum posts and tried to adjust something, but without success.

Please help!

Download a fresh copy of Akeeba Solo 1.2.0
Remove all files and folders from your Solo installation EXCEPT the following:
  • backups (directory)
  • Solo/assets/private (directory)
  • Solo/engine/secretkey.php (file)

Extract the Solo package and upload the files to your site, inside the directory where Solo is installed
Log back in to Solo and retry taking a backup

Thanks!
I realized that a ftp transfer error was the reason, after uploading the zip file and unzip it with putty-access it works now!

Super!
