Hi Christoffer,
Go to the Configuration page, click on the "Configure..." button next to the "Data processing engine" and uncheck the "Process each part immediately" box. Take a new backup. It now appears as "Remote".
I have explained that in this forum many times in the past. It has to do with the fact that the "Delete archive after processing" box is by default checked which means that archives already transferred to off-site storage are removed. From that point, if you have enabled "Process each part immediately", Akeeba Backup can not record the "remote" status of the backup archive due to architectural restrictions. So, since the backup archive is no longer stored on your server, it appears as "Obsolete" instead of "Remote". When you disable the "Process each part immediately", Akeeba Backup knows exactly when the backup is complete and when it's transferred to the remote storage, so it can mark the backup as "Remote" correctly. I know, it's complicated!
