EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:
I have 2 problems which may be interlinked.
1) I get a errors reported about folder Joeban at the end of my Backup. This may be because I have protected that folder
2)My Host Siteground have told me I have a script Loop which is exceeding my server resources as shown in my cPanel.
Are you able to help with this problem, or can you put me in touch with some one who can help?
The log file is 9.5Mb which I can FTP to my server Public/html folder if this would help?

Subject: Recource Overload again re N657618
Description: It seems the same Loop script problem I had previously has resumed.
The only think I have done was to re enable Akeeba Backup. But since i just noticed the problem has resumed I have now disable Akeeba Backup.
I don't know if this will help?

Replies: 2011-12-26 08:59pm by Kiril.I - Hello Michael,

Thank you for contacting our Help Desk.

In order to check if the issue will be resolved you should monitor the cPanel's left side statistics. If they decrease within the next few hours this means that the issue is resolved. If they keep on rising then you should look for another reason due to which the issue exists.

If you have further questions, you are more than welcome to contact us by opening a ticket.

Best Regards,
Kiril I.

2011-12-26 09:01pm by sunglas6 - Of Course I will do that, but I thought you might be able to tell if the script is still looping?
2011-12-26 09:05pm by Kiril.I - Hello,

We have checked the executions statistics in short period of time:

78844 /home/sunglas6/public_html/index.php

78905 /home/sunglas6/public_html/index.php

78927 /home/sunglas6/public_html/index.php

79045 /home/sunglas6/public_html/index.php

79076 /home/sunglas6/public_html/index.php

79139 /home/sunglas6/public_html/index.php

They keep on rising quite fast, these statistics were taken down within a few seconds time period. I believe that the issue still persists.

We would advise you to contact a local developer who can debut your application and determine which script is causing the issue.

Best Regards,
Kiril I.

Hi Mike,

1. I just need you to give me a link to your backup log file, not the backup file itself. Please send me a PM with the link. It's generally a very bad idea posting a link to your backup file on a public forum; it's like putting your car keys on the dashboard for anyone to steal.

2. The location of the script (/home/sunglas6/public_html/index.php) indicates that the problem happens in the front-end of your site. If you have the (obsolete, unsupported and with known issues) "Akeeba Backup Lazy Scheduling" plugin enabled, please disable it. If you don't have this plugin, or if it's already disabled, then your problem has nothing to do with Akeeba Backup.

Hi Mike,

The warnings you get regarding the joeban site are caused by wrong permissions. You need to give these folders 0755 permissions and the files in there should have at least 0444 (ideally, 0644) permissions. This is what "Unreadable file /path/to/file. Check permissions" warning messages mean.

Regarding your screenshot, please note that Akeeba Backup has nothing to do with your site's cache, let alone any error messages you might get when trying to empty your cache. Generic Joomla! support is well beyond the scope of this support forum.
