Even though I have never seen that on a Joomla! 1.5 site, I have an idea. With your FTP client please rename the administrator/modules/mod_akadmin directory to something else, e.g. mod_akadmin_bak.

If this doesn't help, then you may be using the obsolete (since 6 months, nonetheless) lazy scheduling plugin. Using your FTP client remove the file plugins/system/aklazy.php (if it exists). If this files doesn't exist, you are not affected by this issue.

If none of the above helps, please be advised that the problem is not linked to Akeeba Backup. These are the only two pieces of code linked to the Akeeba Backup Core release which could be running on your site without visiting the Akeeba Backup component.

Well, in order to answer that I need to know which version of PHP you're using and which administrator template :)

PHP 4.4.7?! That's one vintage PHP release! We have stopped supporting PHP 4 since two years ago. Akeeba Backup will not even work on anything less than PHP 5.2.7. The last version of my backup component which worked with PHP 4 is JoomlaPack 2.4.1, released January 15th 2010 and no longer supported since June 1st, 2010. You can download it from http://joomlacode.org/gf/project/jpack/frs/?action=FrsReleaseView&release_id=11767 and use it AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Just for the record, PHP 4.4.7 was released on May 3rd, 2007, almost 5 years ago. It is no longer supported by the PHP developers since August 8th, 2008. It contains grave vulnerabilities which can be used to hack your site. Versions 5.0, 5.1 and 5.2 of PHP have also been declared end-of-life since December 2010. I strongly advise you to upgrade to the current version of PHP 5.3 for security reasons.
