EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue.

Description of my issue:
I bought the Pro version today, because you are making wonderful software!
But this time: It's impossible to install Akeeba Pro. I tried the free version beforee with the same problem. I get an empty screen with:
-1 - Er is een fout opgetreden.

Kan het geselecteerde bestand niet kopiëren.

Hi! Thank you for your kind words :)

This error message comes from the Joomla! extensions installer itself, long before any Akeeba Backup code has the chance to run. All of the times I have seen this problem, it is a permissions issue with some directories on your site and/or the FTP settings (the lack thereof, I mean) in your Global Configuration. I have documented the troubleshooting steps here: https://www.akeebabackup.com/documentation/troubleshooter/abinstallation.html

If you have followed these instructions and was still unable to fix this issue, please send me a Personal Message (I am user "nicholas") with the following information:
- URL to your site's administrator page
- Super Administrator username and password
- FTP connection information (hostname, username, password)
and I will take a look at it personally :)
