Hi, Tim!
First, please upgrade to Akeeba Backup 3.3.4. Your version is outdated and no longer supported.
Then, you have to uninstall the no longer maintained and no longer supported "Akeeba Backup Lazy Scheduling" plugin which causes this issue. The plugin was deprecated in Akeeba Backup 3.2.5 and removed as of Akeeba Backup 3.3.a1. Using it with the latest versions of Akeeba Backup is not supported and can have unforeseen effects to the stability of your site.
If you need to automate the backups of your site, I strongly recommend using any of our available backup automation methods, i.e. the front-end backup mode, backup.php or altbackup.php. If your host does not support the creation of CRON jobs or restricts them in any way that makes your backups failed, as of September 2011 you can use webcron.org with Akeeba Backup's front-end backup feature. In fact, they are very competitively priced. For a typical small site, it will only cost 1 Euro to have daily backups of your site for a whole year.
