Joomla! version: 1.7.0
PHP version: 5.2.14
MySQL version: 5.0.51a
Host: domeneshop.no
Akeeba Backup version: 3.2.7

I am trying to transfer my site to a new domain, the host is the same. But now I have been stuck in Initializing backup process for 5 hours. The "Last server response" shows that there is something going on, but nothing happens.
So I really don't know what to do next. Is ok just to abort the transfer or are 5 hours normal time to be waiting? I have no log-file to attach, since the process is still running.

Hope you can help me.

5 hours is way too long to be still in the first step of the backup process. I'd recommend zipping and attaching your backup log file to your next message so that I can take a look and tell you why the transfer fails.

Hi,
I aborted the process by clicking the Control Panel button. Then i got a message saying: Invalid Ajax data. When i clicked on the View Log button, no log had been created.

I have a earlyer log-file, but i guess that won't help you?

By the way, my Akeeba Backup is version 3.3.a3 (2011-06-03)

Please upgrade to Akeeba Backup 3.3.3 (the stable version). The one you have is very old and an alpha (unstable release) with known issues.
