Joomla! version: 1.5.23)
PHP version: 5.2.17
MySQL version: 5.0.92-community
Host: Dedi server
Akeeba Backup version: 3.3.1(unknown)

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue.

Description of my issue:When i back up with out offsite back up to drop box everything is fine.Amazon cloud backup is too.
When i use drop box the process seems to finish fine, i get a local copy and i get a drop box copy. However with drop box as off site backup I always get an error at the end of back up
'Process was aborted on user request'

There is no hard bug/fails in log so I can only imagine that i might try splitting files. I am not sure where to do this in admin interface for dropbox testing.

Searching help i fund this https://www.akeebabackup.com/documentation/akeeba-backup-documentation/item/762-data-processing-engines.html but its broken link!

Does auto config take care of setting sensible sizes? What do I need to change?

The link you found was rather old. The correct one is https://www.akeebabackup.com/documentation/akeeba-backup-documentation/data-processing-engines.html

However, I would suggest reading this page instead: https://www.akeebabackup.com/documentation/akeeba-backup-documentation/step-by-step-guides.html#how-to-cloud-backup-basic-config In just four short paragraphs it explains how to split the backup archive to smaller parts. Much easier than reading the Grand Encyclopaedia of Archiver Engines' Options :D

It goes without saying, if you get stuck somewhere, post back! I'm here to help :)
