Joomla! version: 1.5
PHP version: PHP 5
MySQL version: 5.1.56
Host: turtlehost to hostgater
Akeeba Backup version: Akeeba Backup Professional 3.3.1 (2011-07-22)

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue.

Description of my issue:
hi
try to move my site to a other host
but I cant seem to connect to new database
made the data base the same name
and also user name
but kickstart cant connect to the new data base

Hi luppe,

Please follow all of the isntructions in this troubleshooting page. You have only covered step #1 in that page, but anything among steps #2 up to and including #7 could cause the issue you are reporting.
