I've placed my backup on the Amazon s3 server (via configuration) and it all works fine, except when I want to restore by it.. It says it cannot find the files..

Sorry for the long delay in replying, your message got through the cracks of the spam filter.

What you describe makes perfect sense. When you transfer the archive to S3, it is removed from your server. This is a very sane security precaution. However, it can't be restored directly from S3. You need to fetch it back to your server. As long as you have Akeeba Backup 3.2.7 (our latest stable release), just click on the "Manage remote files" link on the right hand column and, in the popup, click on fetch back to server. This will move the backup file back to your server. Then, you can restore your site.
