Joomla! version: (1.5.23)
PHP version: (5.2.17)
MySQL version: (unknown)
Host: (dedicated server)
Akeeba Backup Professional version: (3.2.7)

Description of my issue:

A few weeks ago my server had a fit and needed restarting. When I checked further my backups had jumped from around 180Mb to 900Mb, overnight which was odd?
After Checking further I found massive joomlapack files.
I assumed I must never have removed joomlapack when upgrading to Akeeba.
I Removed everything I could see that mentioned joomlapack in administrator, components and modules folder and reinstalled Akeeba pro for good measure.

Just today I have noticed again, joomlapack is in my components menu again?

Ive just backed up the site, extracted it and searched for joomlapack and it has shown a few files - Ive attached screenshot.

Why is this re appearing and which of these files can I get shut of to be certain joomlapack doesn't come back.

Thanks in advance,
Andy

Unless you are restoring from an old backup which included JoomlaPack in it, or install the component yourself, there is no other way it can keep on reappearing.

I got a notification for a message you posted, but I guess you deleted it in the meantime? I assume you found the database entries and removed them?
