#8814 auto update not work

Using joomla 1.5.22, rochen hosting php 5.2.16, mysql 5.1.54, backup pro version 3.2...
I have installed my download id...when "updating" i get
Make sure that your temp-directory is writable or that you have enabled Joomla!'s FTP options in your site's Global Configuration.

But it is writable, and the akeeba zip file
com_akeeba.update.zip
is sitting there....

It does not work on five sites with the exact same results...

This is a known bug with the Live Update code. Please download the newest version's installation ZIP package manually from our site (https://www.akeebabackup.com/latest) and install it on your site. Do not uninstall your existing version of Akeeba Backup before installing the new one!
