I need to restore my site and I have Akeeba Backup 3.2. When I go into the Administer Files area there is no Restore button. Has this option changed in recent changes to Akeeba Backup?

The option is right there. I think that you accidentally installed Akeeba Backup Core 3.2 on top of your previous installation. Go to your Akeeba Backup Control Panel. Take a look at the right hand pane. Below the green box which states that Akeeba Backup is ready you should see "Akeeba Backup Professional 3.2 (2011-01-31)". If not, re-download Akeeba Backup Professional 3.2 and install it on-top of your existing Akeeba Backup installation.

Apparently I only have the core version and not the pro. Does the core version not have the restore button?

I'm assuming that was it. I paid for the Pro subscription, installed it, and now there is a restore button!

I'm assuming that previous versions of the Core version had the restore button because I remember it being there before!

Nope. JoomlaPack 2.1 through 2.4.1 had a restoration button in their Plus releases. Akeeba Backup never had a restoration button in the core release. This has always been a feature of the Professional release only.
