How to limit the number of backuparchives on destination FTP server?

How can I make sure there are no more than (for ex.) just 2 backuparchives saved on the destination FTP server? Else my FTP server would run out of diskspace.

Your help is appreceated!

Regards,

Gosling

This feature was only implemented in the latest betas, that's why you didn't find it :) You have to use Akeeba Backup 3.2.b3 or later. Go to the Configuration page and make the following changes:
- Check the "Apply quotas to remote storage" checkbox
- Check the "Enable count quotas" checkbox
- Set the number of backup archives you want to keep by using the "Count quota" slider

Save the Configuration and run a new backup.

IMPORTANT: Quotas will only be applied to backups created with 3.2.b3 and later versions. Backups taken with any earlier version will NOT count towards the remote storage quotas. The reason is that the necessary statistics were not gathered by earlier versions, making Akeeba Backup 3.2.b3 and later think that those files do not longer exist on the remote FTP server.

Thanks! That was exactly what I needed. My remote server was running out of diskspace and no backup's we're done.
