I cannot update to latest version, I get this message:

JInstaller::install: The file '/home/removed/public_html/tmp/install_4d25bac23e29a/backend/plugins' doesn't exist

Phing, the build system we've been using for over a year, seems to have some grave issues in its latest release, causing erratic packaging behaviour. I just fixed the problematic packages. You can now retry the installation.

I had the same problem as the original poster, just downloaded your new versions and it installed without an error.

One thing that changed is in the b2 version, on the configuration page, it said that my server supported encryption and it was safe to store passwords. Now, it says:

"Your server does not support encryption of your configuration settings. We strongly advise you not to store any passwords in the configuration."

I am on Rochen, has something changed with them or with this patch?

Thanks

I also noticed that while all of my original profiles are still there, they have all been reset to the defaults. I have lost all my settings in all profiles.

You're right, there is a bug in the encryption check code in the b3 package. I just updated the package with the fixed code. Sorry about that :(

Nicholas,

Installed the latest version, warning about server not supporting encrypted password has gone away. Tested Amazon S3 backup and extract all worked, no issues.

Thanks

Thank you for your positive feedback and accept my sincere apologies for the unacceptable issues caused by the first two installation packages published.
