Great product, many thanks for providing it. It has worked flawlessy for me and allows me to sleep easily at night!

Is it possible to use Akeeba Backup Pro to back up my 'horde' email database? I am using CPanel on my server.

Most likely not. Your Horde Email is a web front-end to the system's mailbox. In order to backup its data we need read access to the system's mailbox files. This is simply impossible for security reasons.

The easiest way to do that is to actually set up a desktop email client (e.g. Thunderbird) to talk to your mail server via the IMAP protocol. Unlike POP3, IMAP won't delete the email messages off your server, essentially keeping a backup copy of all your emails (inbox, folders, sent, trash, ...) every time you synchronize your desktop mail client with your server.
