Hi,
Sorry if I am posting in a wrong section. I was wondering if it is possible to work locally while remain offline and uplaod only the changed files and database entries through Akeebabackup pro and using dropbox to the Web Server?

I will keep localhost environment similar to my web server (php and mysql versions). And the website will also be mirrored on localhost through akeebabackup. Now is there any way that akeebabackup could just make the backup of only the changed files, folders and database entries since the last backup and sync it with the Linux Web Server (mirrored website) through Dropbox.

Even if it is not possible through akeebabackup I would highly appreciate if you could just guide me how to do it through any other available component please.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Regards.

What you are talking about is called "site synchronization" and is not possible to do automatically for too many technical reasons.

That said, you can always exclude user-modified directories and database tables and restore that (partial) backup on top of the live site in order to apply the changes you made locally.
