Which exact version of Joomla! 1.6 and which exact version of Akeeba Backup Professional? On Joomla! 1.6 Beta 13, Akeeba Backup 3.1.2, which solves that issue, won't even install and we'll release a new version to address this.

LOL Boy, I wish I had read that BEFORE I un-installed Joomla 1.6-Beta13 to start over. Any idea when the new version will be ready?

Monday or Tuesday. I am working on a problem with the live update code on some hosts. Once this is dealt with, I will release a new version.
