Hi Nicholas.
Fo no apparent reason, Akeeba show me the error
"Backup error: XML-RPC layer error:AEAbstractDump :: Database Error: Could not connect to MySQL".

Ok, maybe I found the solution.

That error comes from the server side. I think that you have an Extra Database Definition where you have set the wrong connection information. Can you check that? Thanks!
