I have set up Akeeba pro - latest versions (akkeeba & joomla) into a site and have set up to back up to my S3 cloud storage.

I have set up this way for a few sites and all works fine. though this site. I have set a size quota of 24Mb - see screen shot

Though when I back up, this is being ignored and my backups are in a single file of around 50Mb - Have i missed something??

Thanks,

EDIT I cant seem to add the screen shot. shows in upload manager but not added to the post.
In the quota management box, below advanced config, I have only the enable size quota box checked and have moved the slider across to around 24Mb ??

You are using the wrong slider :) You have to find the Archiver Engine setting and click on the Configure button next to it. A pane opens below. Find the "Part Size for Split Archives" slider and drag it to 24Mb. Save & retry backup. This should do the trick ;)
