Hi
I installed one of CB's Incubator projects "CB Triggers" and Akeeba Remote Control stops working with the error "XML-RPC layer error:Unknown method". If I disable the CB "XML-RPC - CB Triggers" plugin (part of CB Triggers) then Akeeba RC starts working again.

As far as I know all the trigger does is reroutes Joomla XML-RPC triggers to CB triggers. Has anyone come across anything like this before?

If it is rerouting the XML-RPC calls then it is absolutely expected that the Remote Control will not work any more. After all, Remote Control requires Joomla!'s XML-RPC server to function and process triggers (actually, they're "RPC calls over HTTP", not just triggers) normally. The CB Triggers is hijacking the XML-RPC server and Akeeba Backup's plugin never runs and can't process the RPC calls directed to it.

Thanks Nicholas, I was also in touch with CB people yesterday about this and they suggested I just turn off that XML-RPC plugin part of CB Triggers as it's not used anyway and is about to be made redundant. They couldn't understand what was happening but I will pass your information on.

Thanks again and thanks for your great work
