I'm trying to restore a site. When I use Kickstart 3.1.1 it appears to deploy properly but the site doesn't work. When I tried to wipe everything I was unable to delete a string of folders in the /tmp directory. Host said it was because there were invalid characters. (/tmp/install_4c27de7b83cf1/n.host + location.pathname; var = job.replace)

Kickstart runs though the paces all the way to the end until you get to the last page "Go to front page or go to back-end" buttons.

The host managed to remove the folders for me so I could give it another go. The only other thing I could think to try was to manually replace the database with a known good sql dump I have.

I then tired to unpack it using the eXtract wizard. Half way through it failed with an error which is the same folder that I was unable to delete from the server previously.

Cannot create C:\Users\Joe\Desktop\ggj/tmp/install_4c27de7b83cf1/n.host + location.pathname; var = job.replace (/ folder

Any ideas how I can get it fixed? The orig site was packed and taken down for about a month so unfortunately I can't just take another backup.

Normally, you can use Akeeba eXtract Wizard 3.0.3 and enable the Ignore Most Errors option to extract the archive without the folders which have invalid characters in them. If this doesn't work, please send me a PM with a link to the backup archive so that I can try to fix any issues and publish a new eXtract Wizard version which can extract it properly.
