I am using Joomla 1.5.20, Akeeba 30. Pro
When I run the backup process on this site, it just stops when it gets to the last step. I do not get an error message, the browser just crashes. I have attached the log.

Thanks for any helpAkeeba Log

First, try setting the temporary directory to the tmp folder inside your site's root.

Then, I have some blank spots here. When you say "the browser crashes" what do you mean? It closes unexpectedly? It displays something? Furthermore, which browser are you using? Have you tried with latest versions of Firefox, Chrome, Safari or Opera? Do you have any firewall/antivirus on your computer? If so, have you tried disabling them?

Hi Nicholas,
1. I think it is already set to the tmp folder in the root, and permissions are set to 777
2. I am using the latest version of Firefox, but also tried on the latest version of MS IE
3. During backup, the backup just stops making any progress during "Backing up files" I wait for about 15 minutes, and there is just no more progress. If I then click anywhere in the browser, nothing will happen, and the browser will turn white. The only way to continue anything is to close the brower.
4. No firewall, and I have used Akeeba several times before - I think it must be something to do with the server or file settings?

Ahh, I answered my own question - after looking at the error log, I realized the database was not set properly within the Joomla.

He he! It's usually the one thing you'd suppose it has to be correct, right? I'm glad you got it fixed :)
