The eXtract Wizard accepts Windows UNC paths for the archive but not for the extraction destination folder. The obvious workaround is mapping the destination location to a network drive, but for various reasons I prefer not to.

Maybe something to fix in the next version?

Not possible. When this option is added it causes huge issues when running on Linux. Since eXtract and Kickstart share the same extraction engine and most live hosts are based on Linux this option won't be added anytime soon.
