For about 1-2 weeks now I get a sql error on the phpbb forum part of my website. Before that time it worked without problems. When restoring a backup locally this error occurs only when I click on the forum part, the rest of my site works without problems. I was hoping that the update 3.1.b.1 would solve the problem but unfortunately it didn't.

Enclosed you will find an attachment with the exact error.

The attachment didn't come through. After attaching the file you have to scroll the attachments window to the right and click the green checkmark next to the file name in order to appear here.

Do note that phpBB3 - like other software external to Joomla! - is using its own configuration file defining the database connection settings. Upon restoring locally you have to manually modify this file. The same thing goes for any bridge you may be using, as these also define their own database connection information. The restoration script can't anticipate this (it only deals with the configuration of Joomla! itself). It is not a bug, it is how Akeeba Backup was designed to work.

This is something I could have known myself :/

I found the config file and changed it to my local server and it works.

Thanks!
