Hi,
I run two cron jobs, one for a daily backup using the default akeeba profile and one for a weekly backup using a clone of the default akeeba profile that has no changes other than the output file name. On the two sites I have this setup the weekly backup with the second profile always errors with the below...

PHP Notice: Undefined index: profile in /var/home/www/shared/administrator/components/com_akeeba/backup.php on line 71

A backup is made, im just worried what the error means and if my backups could be missing data?

Any suggestions? :)

This is a cosmetic bug, fixed in the latest developer's release. Your backup is all right.

You can actually test it by restoring to a local server. BTW, this is always a good idea because an untested backup is usally as good as no backup at all. Just to keep your sanity, use WAMPServer for your local server setup and make sure you have downloaded and enabled its PHP 5.2.11 optional module. The reason is that most pre-packaged server solutions (like XAMPP, Uniform Server, etc) are using PHP 5.3 and most Joomla! extensions are sadly not fully compatible with it yet :(

Hey,

I updated my sites to 3.1.b3, the original error is gone but is replaced with...

PHP Notice: Undefined variable: jpskey in /var/home/www/twoit.co.uk/administrator/components/com_akeeba/akeeba/core/domain/init.php on line 62

Im guessing again this is just a cosmetic bug, so not too worries

Yes, this is a cosmetic bug. Thanks for the heads up, it's a one-liner fix to add in the stable :)
