I want to create CRON job script to auto backup my site everyday. I can not find the CRON script manager icon as document shows. so I wonder I need to change to advanced mode.

Thank you, now I understand. Akeeba does not have the Advanced and Basic settings that JoomlaPack did. I think you are looking at a JoomlaPack documentation file. Please try the instructions here.
