When I try to run the cron job for backup (...administrator/components/com_akeeba/backup.php) I get the following error message:

Akeeba Backup CLI 3.0.rc1 (2010-05-20)

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or '}' in ... administrator/components/com_akeeba/akeeba/factory.php on line 33

The ... represents the path that I have disguised for security reasons. What do I need to do?

Thanks,
Worth

You are using php4. You are probably calling php in the command line for the CRON job. That particular command points to php4, you need to check with your host to see what the command is to call php5. It could be something like /usr/bin/php5.
