I've tried the backup a couple of times, and I keep getting the same error. I noticed that the file size keeps stopping at 2 GB. I read the other threads about this, and since our server is Linux, I assumed their wasn't a OS-based size limit. I checked my PHP settings to see if I could find out if their was a limit there, but I'm not sure where to check. Is this just a matter of me having to break up my backup into smaller pieces?

I tried to attach my log file, but I got an error from your website:

Warning: Smarty error: unable to read resource: ".tpl" in /home/jpack/public_html/components/com_agora/include/smarty/Smarty.class.php on line 1092

But, the log looks OK. I think the backup is just stopping when the file reaches 2 GB.

I know for a fact that one of the directories on my website is about 25 GB because we don't store the Remository files in the database.

The 2 Gb file size limit is related to php. At that point, an internal integer field overflows. It should convert to floating point, but we consider anything over 2 Gb unreliable. This is on a 32 bit operating system, the 64 bit limit is huge. The way around it is to break your backup into parts. Just move the part size slider all the way to the right. You should note that kickstart can't handle an archive whose total size is greater than 2.Gb at this time. eXtract does not have a file size limit. To restore this archive, you will need to extract the archive locally and move the files to the server via ftp.

Our forum and our SEF component hate each other. :( We're waiting on an SEF update.
