Dear Fiends,
I am using and recomending Joomlapack from more that 2 years and I'm very happy to become a Subscriber now for the Akeeba Professional... you did really an incredible job!
My target is to config. the direct copy of the daily backups to my Amazon S3 cloud and you have mentioned in your site this is possible with the Akeeba Professional version...
After installing the PRO version I can not see how to fix this feature + the mentioned built-in Akeeba cronjob one to be able to set 1 daily backup automatically...
Even at your today documentation I can't see where this features are explained...
Your help for both features will be very welcome,
Thanks in advance for your quick repply,

I can't explain how happy I am now!... Just configured and works like a charm! Frankly, I would never realize that to make automated backups could be possible with high speed and directly to my Amazon S3 Cloud directory!
I can not run CronJobs in one of my shared servers but scheduling the task with the Akeeba Remote Control solved this problem...
There is one thing to ask if you consider It will be welcome at your side, for future PRO upgrades:
Will be very welcome that an additional directory will be created automatically by the script using the structure: site-[HOST]-[DATE] (or even [HOST]-[DATE] should be enough) inside the S3 bucked where will be placed later the created backup files.
I will stay tuned to your feedback,
Thanks a lot again for all,
Rgrds,

Ah! The versioned directory structure never crossed my mind. If I can coerce the API functions to create a subdirectory I'll gladly do that.

BTW, all steps are explained in different parts of the documentation, but there was no "walkthrough" guide. I'm going to add the article you mentioned to the mainstream documentation in due time (i.e. in time for the beta release). It was first published on OpenSourceHelpDesk.com as part of our agreement to establish a partnership :)
