Hi. I'm using the Pro version 3.0.a1.1 (2010-03-02). When backing up via a cron job, the site name is not included in the output file name. My backups look like this:

site--20100302-160102.jpa

All my other backups include the site name:

site-domain.com-date-time.jpa

Thanks!

Thank you for the report, I'll pass this on to Nicholas. :)

This is a known limitation of the CRON script. You see, the CRON script (backup.php) runs under the command line PHP interface which can't report the site's hostname. In fact, on shared hosting, the only way to find the host name is to query Apache environment variables which contain the hostname you requested when accessing the site. To cut a long story short, there is no way for the CRON script to automatically determine the hostname. You have to specify it manually in the profile settings, i.e. change your template name from site-[HOST]-[DATE]-[TIME] to site-www.example.com-[DATE]-[TIME].

Thanks for the update! I've modified my profile so it says the domain name instead of [HOST]. Maybe in a future version you could update the tooltip for the archive name label so it includes the CRON limitations. Thanks!

You're welcome! I just updated the English translation to warn that this tag doesn't work in the CRON mode.
