I'm trying to migrate Joomla 4.4.8 to joomla 5.x(Latest version) I've made a backup with Akeeba Pro.
The only thing not up to scratch is de database: 5.7.42-log

Perhaps somewhat fast I decided to backup the site to begin with and restore the site on a dummy test website. The procedure runs perfectly. However, allthough I started a db 8.xx as to be used in Joomla 5, I found out that the actual db is 5.7.42-log after restore.

My question: Is it possible to restore the website to the newest version DB ??

Regards

Mark

Hello,

to which version are you referring to? Can you please attach a screenshot just to be sure?
