Hello ,

I have just installed Akeeba pro. I can't find where to insert my download ID. The online help and the video are for Joomla 3, and I'm on Joomla 4.

Can you tell me what I need to do?

Thank you for your help,

Bob

Yes, of course. Here's what to do:

  • From the main administrator page of your site click on System on the sidebar.
  • Click on the Update Sites link towards the bottom of the middle column on the System page.
  • Find the Akeeba Backup for Joomla! package entry on the list and click on it to open the edit page.
  • Enter your main or Add-on Download ID in the Download Key area. Click on the Save & Close button on the toolbar to apply the Download ID.

A summary of this information, along with a link to our site's page that shows your main Download ID, is presented to you at the top of the page if Akeeba Backup detects that the Download ID is missing.

This information, along with tips for managing Download IDs across multiple sites and clients, can also be found in our documentation.
