After restoration Akeeba is not able to remove the installation directory. I think it´s an issues with the user rights? Can anyone tell me where the directory is placed and if there are known other reasons for this issue? (Please see attachment) ...

It happens sometimes, especially on Windows, because the filesystem cache hasn't caught up with the filesystem reality just yet. Just delete the folder manually.
