I just upgraded my Joomla! 4 site to Joomla! 5 using a staging copy of the site.  Akeeba Backup is failing with the following error:

Class "Base64Url\Base64Url" not found

Log attached.

Looks like this might be a duplicate of ticket 39749. I went into Options and set Push Notifications to disabled. That seems to work.

Wondering when the next software version with the fix will be released.

This is already fixed in the latest published version, 9.8.3. It was released on November 7th.

You seem to have the immediately previous version. Please download and install the new version, twice in a row, without uninstalling it before or in between.

Done.

Now I'm getting:

Class "Lcobucci\JWT\Signer\BaseSigner" not found

We do not use that class in Akeeba Backup or indeed any of our software. Therefore, this does not come from our software.

It is possible that a core Joomla or third party plugin is at a version only compatible with Joomla! 4, quite possibly only throwing this error when a format=raw request is made.

How would you recommend troubleshooting this? Is there any straightforward way to isolate the cause?

tbartrider

I resolved the issue by removing and reinstalling Akeeba.
