I just tried installing Akeeba Backup 9.8.0 and this message appeared - any ideas how to rectify?
Everybody will be able to see its contents. Do not include usernames, passwords or any other sensitive information.

Hello,
the problem was caused by an error in the Quick Icon plugin of Akeeba Backup. We already fixed this issue in the dev release: https://www.akeeba.com/download/akeebabackuppro-dev.html
We will publish a new version in the next days once other tasks are completed. If you do not want to install a dev release, you can always unpublish the Akeeba Backup plugin in the category Quick Icon
