EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 10MiB, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

 

This is a new installation of Joomla. I have made attempts to install Akeeba Back up. Each time I get the error message 'Path does not exist', 'Package Install: There was an error installing an extension: com_akeebabackup-pro.zip'

I've not seen this error before

 

As I have not managed to install it yet no log is available

before uploading the extension, on the upload page there should be printed what's the upload size limit. Can you please tell me the number that's displayed?

Can you please double check the solution suggested by Nicholas? I think you're missing some PHP extension, you should get in touch with your host.

I think I found the problem.

 

The Ionos shared server we're on has a limit to the total file number allowed. It looks like we have hit that limit.
