I just went to update Akeeba Backup and Admin Tools on my Joomla 4 site, and got a Fatal Error:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare getManifestXML() (previously declared in [partly redacted URL].../tmp/install_64f78e194935e/script.admintools.php:296) in [partly redacted URL]/tmp/install_64f78e2b8872e/script.akeebabackup.php on line 233
Error: Cannot redeclare getManifestXML() (previously declared in [partly redacted URL]/tmp/install_64f78e194935e/script.admintools.php:296)
There were 4 extension updates available showing, and I selected Admin Tools and Akeeba Backup to update together (leaving the other 2 for after). I've never had a problem doing it that way before, but since it says something about a problem with crossover between the two, could that have something to do with this? (I didn't change to another tab or application while the updates were taking place.)
Or might it be because of my PHP 8.0.x version (as I'm seeing problems with updates with another extension lately)?
I can't find any other reference to this specific error in a search, and there is no error number with it. The site says both Akeeba Backup and Admin tools are now running the latest versions (9.7.1 and 7.4.0, respectively), but with the "fatal error" I'm not sure if I should trust the upgrade. Should I download the update files and reinstall them?
Please advise. Thanks in advance.
