Sorry, I cannot do this, for the following reason:
I need to install Akeeba Backup to a new "backup" site that does not contain a working Joomla anymore, because of a dumb thing I did. I had hoped to be able to use Akeeba Backup to restore the site from an existing backup, but your documentation is unclear to me, since it only seems to describe using Akeeba Backup on sites that already contain a running Joomla site.
Am I correct that I could
- manually put some kind of vanilla Joomla installation on this site,
- then install Akeeba Backup into this site,
- and then use Akeeba Backup to restore the site I had lots, from an existing backup?
Please advise. Thanks in advance for your help!
