TSKSN

Hello,

I would like to use the Site Transfer Wizard, but it keeps giving me the error "Could not connect to the remote FTP server." If I enter the access data in FileZilla, it works. Can you please help me?

Best regards
Martin

Hello,

let's try the simplest test, first. Choose SFTP option, not the one that is using cURL.

Then remove the values about public and private key pair and try again.

Hello,

there is only SFTP, curl.

What should I do?

mhm.. this means that the SSH extension for PHP is missing, so we have to use cURL.

Can you please blank out the public/private fields and try again?

Hello,

the fields are not filled in - it's just greyed out text.

Most likely there is a firewall between your server and the new one. In these cases the best thing to do is to perform the restoration manually: download the archive, upload to the new site and then proceed with the restoration.

If your site is very large, you can upload it to Amazon S3 and use Kickstart pro to download the archives directly to the new server, cutting the transfer time
