You can't delete just the log files without deleting the backup records.
There are two things you can do (you can do either, or both if you want).
Set the Log Level to Errors Only in your backup profile. You don't need the All Information and Debug unless you want to request support. At some point we did have the default to Errors Only but we had a really hard time trying to get some people to set it back to All Information and Debug, or explain to a loud minority the obvious fact that changing the log level to something more detailed won't make their existing log files more detailed by some sort of magic. That's why we have it set to All Information and Debug by default.
Each backup profile has quota settings. One of these is the Obsolete Records quote, i.e. how many records marked as Obsolete (no backup files exist for them) to keep. When an obsolete record is deleted, its corresponding log file is removed as well. The default value is 50 which is a fairly balanced setting for most people. You can set it to something lower, depending on how many obsolete records you want to keep.
Bonus third thing to do: delete the log files manually, over FTP or SFTP. I generally don't recommend this as your finger might slip and delete something you intended to keep.
