Hi,

After Joomla migration from J3.10 to Joomla 4.2.x and Akeeba reinstallation with a new version, the older was uninstalled - I cannot use new Akeeba Backup anymore

In the Admin area, I have this error:  Class 'Akeeba\Component\AkeebaBackup\Administrator\Provider\CacheCleaner' not found

It would appear that Joomla failed to copy all of the necessary files when you installed Akeeba Backup 9. This is an issue I've been reporting to Joomla since 2014. It happens rarely and it's still unsolved.

Download Akeeba Backup 9.4.5 from our site's Download page. Install the ZIP file you downloaded twice in a row, without uninstalling Akeeba Backup before or in between. This will solve your issue. If not, ask your host to reset the PHP OPcache on your site.

Thanks Nicholas, as always.

 

Indeed after a while server cache was reloaded, and no error anymore. But indeed weird, I saw it the first time.
