#37016 Error: AJAX Loading Error - HTTP Status: 403 (Forbidden) - You don't have permission to access /administrator/index.php on this server.

Since about a month I get the following error when I try to make a backup on my site:

<strong>AJAX Loading Error</strong><br/>HTTP Status: 403 (Forbidden)<br/>Internal status: error<br/>XHR ReadyState: 4<br/>Raw server response:<br/><!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//IETF//DTD HTML 2.0//EN"> <html><head> <title>403 Forbidden</title> </head><body> <h1>Forbidden</h1> <p>You don't have permission to access /administrator/index.php on this server.</p> </body></html>

Also Watchful can not make a connection anymore to this site (and give a error when I put the "default backup profile" in the settings.

The permissions on the /administrator/index.php file is: 644, but also when I put it to 666 this will not help.

I have multiple sites, also with the same hoster and with the same settings, and they don't have any problems.

Can you help me?

I am confused by your wording. Watchful has no business accessing the /administrator/index.php file to perform a remote backup. They only need to access /index.php.

If you mean that you get this error only sometime during the backup taken from the backend of your site I will need you to set the Log Level to All Information and Debug, take a new backup, download the backup log file, put it in a ZIP file and attach it to your next reply.
