Go to Components, Akeeba Backup. Select your backup profile. Click on Configuration. Scroll down to Quota Settings. Disable the Count Quota.

The default is to have this feature enabled with a value of 3 backups. The decision for this default setting was made after way too many complaints from people who had ended up using up all their allotted hosting space with backups. In contrast, the number of people who want to keep more backups on their server are far less by over an order of magnitude. What can I say, we have to adapt our defaults to how people use our software, not how we'd like them to use it.

> So at this time there is no way for me to find the previous backup files?

Correct. If the backup entries appear as Obsolete the backup archives have been deleted.

> Also, I should be able to automatically upload any backup files to Cloud services like Google drive, right?

Correct. You just need to set up Akeeba Backup to do that. Our video tutorials have examples for some popular choices, the rest are in our written documentation.

> When I want to restore one of them, do I have to manually download them first or I can restore them from Akeeba's backend as if those backup file are on my local server?

The backup archives need to be on your web server for the restoration to work (extracting an archive requires random access to a file which is notoriously slow and unreliable over HTTP).

If you have chose to delete your backup archive from your web server once it is uploaded to remote storage you will need to fetch it back to the web server. This can be done from the Manage Backups page in Akeeba Backup.

If you site is completely inaccessible you can always download the backup archive file(s) from the remote storage service and place them on the site's root directory along with Akeeba Kickstart. Basically, you follow the “Restore your site on any server” video tutorial.
