Description of my issue:

 

Hello, after doing a restore cannot access site admin. I see my user name under the user table, but will not recognize by user and pass combination.

Also, is there a way to run the restore via command prompt?

you can manually reset your backend password using Joomla core features, more info here: https://docs.joomla.org/How_do_you_recover_or_reset_your_admin_password%3F

Hello Davide, the issue is not the recovery of the password, is that with the USER table, changing and updating the password, with the correct encryption,. the system will just not let me login, even with several superuser accounts that I have.

 

I did resolve the issue by restoring the site from hosting files, so it was something that went wrong when I did the restore from the Akeeba component.
