I have attached a screen shot of the error I received while updating Akeeba backup, I can only find a component called file_fef. Could I have some instruction as to how to remove FEF please?

Like any other Joomla extension, of course.

System, Manage, Extensions.

Search for fef

Check the box next to file_fef

Click on the Uninstall button.
