EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:

Any item I chose in the Akeeba 9.0.2 menu causes the same exception in LoadAnyTemplate.php at line 232

I ran the Configuration Wizard and that completed with success.

It looks like Joomla didn't copy at least one file. Please try installing the package twice in a row without uninstalling it before or in between.

Did what you asked, installed twice even tree times in a row without uninstalling.

No change in behaviour.

Since Windows is a bit wacky when it comes to file case, please try this.

Delete the folder administrator/components/com_akeebabackup/src

Install Akeeba Backup 9 (the dev release I linked you to) again, without uninstalling it before or in between.

Did that fix the problem?

Deleted the indicated src folder, and installed revb02be04 again.

All files in there now have the timestamp 14/08/2021 16:19

Still unhandled exception LoadAnyTemplate.php Line 232

This issue only happens on Windows. A new version will be released later today which addresses this issue.

The standard extension update procedure did not detect the availability of V9.0.3  so I used "install

extension" to load V9.0.3.

First access to control panel ran OK and asked if I wanted to migrate my data from the old (8.0.8) version .

The migration of the data was successfull.

I started a new backup and that ran OK too.

Finally I uninstalled the 8.0.8 version of Akeeba backup.

Thanks Nicholas for your efforts and timely solution.

Kind regards,

Johan.
