I am a bit confused as to whether you have a problem updating Akeeba Backup or you are asking me about the messages you see in Akeeba Backup AFTER updating it.

If you have a problem updating Akeeba Backup. Updates to our software are handled by Joomla itself. In fact, the Joomla Extensions Directory terms of service forbid us from using our own update code. Please note that Joomla! is fully responsible for discovering available updates and installing them on your site. Akeeba Ltd does not have any control of the update process. You would need to consult Joomla's documentation and support forum.

If your question is about the messages displayed in Akeeba Backup. Both messages are links each one taking you to a page which explains what the problem is and how to resolve it. I wrote these pages myself and there are only so many ways I can explain the same thing. In other words, you need to click on the links and read the pages. The other option is having me copy and paste the same text which would take another 1-2 days.
