Description of my issue:

The icon that indicates that "Backup on update" is activated is no longer shown.

We have changed how this plugin works about 6 months ago.

It no longer displays an icon on every single page of your backend.

It only displays a message at the top of the main Joomla Update page.

There were two reasons for this.

One, it never made sense to display this everywhere when the only place it is going to be used is the Joomla Update component.

Two, Joomla 4 has changed how status icons work. They actually went through four revisions between Joomla 4 Alpha 2 and RC 1. After the third time I had to trash the implementation for Joomla 4 to write it afresh I decided to rethink how this feature is implemented and came up with a solution that's Joomla 3 and 4 compatible and relatively future-proof.
