Hi,

Akeeba Backup and Admin Tools have disappeared from the component drop-down menu.
I checked in extensions management and both are still installed on the website, so apparently it's just a display issue in the component list.
How to display them again?

Thanks,

Lorenzo

Hello,

I suspect Joomla corrupted the menu tree in the backend. Please get inside the Menu page, select the Administrator section and then hit the "Rebuild" button. That should rebuild the whole tree and hopefully fix the issue.

If that's not happening, please install Akeeba Backup and Admin Tools twice in a row, without uninstalling it. In our post-installation script we have some special checks to make sure our components are inside the admin menu.

Let me know how it goes.
